It Gwenny Birthday!

Last Saturday 4th July 2009 is the day when Gwen mark her end of mid twenties statues moving to Late twenties!!! Hoho sound damm scary! Anyway I held a mini surprise / celebration for her with Jeff, ah Long, Cat, ah Lam & me!

Itinerary of the day:

8pm - Dinner at Vivo ( Pu Tien)

Plan: Wanted to reach early to buy a cake and surprise her when the dinner end, but due to the bad traffic and parking, we only reach the restaurant 815pm, not forgetting need to collect the movie tix too. By then we are so hungry, totally forget about the cake.

Mission: Failed

10pm - Dessert & Coffee At Bakerzin

Plan: Purposely chose that place so we could have coffee as our excuse, at the same time Bakerzin's cake is nicer. But the queue is bloody long even though is 10pm

Mission: Failed

1010pm all the way to move started - Back up plan at Gloria Jean

Plan: Excuse myself to the ladies to get her a cake, but she followed me!

Mission: Failed

Back up plan: Get cat to help me buy cake when she reached. Rushed to Bakerzin to buy cake when she arrived. Of course, I have to pretend actually I helping her to carry her bulky stuff.

Mission: Suceed to getting away without being suspicious

To my horror, it left with only a SLICE of cake!

Finally the last 2 guests arrived before we proceed to watch ICE AGE 3 in 3D!!! I must say is the 3D experience is real good. You got to put on a glasses like this:

The day when he say he did not treat me as friend

Those who know me pretty well will know that I treat friendship with a certain level of pirority. As long I treat you as my friend, you will get the attention from me, somehow I do expect the same amount of attention in return.

But that was the past. The number of disappointments and broken heart I received had make me realise that I should just give and take as not all the people behave the same way as me: Friendship 1st ! Eventually Family or Relationship will surpassed over Friendship in due time.

But the least I expect in return is ' I do not treat her as a friend' came out from his mouth when I do treat him as a friend more then a colleague or tenant. Now it making me confused, should I just continued treat him as a colleague or tenant. In both suitation, I do not talk nescessary except work or house matter. Maybe I should just treat him as a colleague with a hi - bye gesture.

Actually I do feel our relationship has distance ever since he moved in. We used to have lunch together, chat abit over work together with Friend R. But throughout their 2 months stay, they have been hiding inside their room and gradually less contact in office. It feeling weird as I do not wish the previous incident will my ex tenant will happen again. As much as possible I already did and tell whatever things that should not be done in the house to lessen the conflicts. Seem like it not helping or my expectation is too high. But as for now, I strongly stick to my points, those complains and requirements are basic humans should know and follow.

Today as usual, colleague B and friend R were having their normal chat ( that w/o me, last time I will joined them), suddenly this phrase ' I do not treat her as my friend!' caught my ear. Feeling they were discussing about me, I look up and I right. colleague B was looking at my direction. ( there no one behind me expect a full height glass door) Immediately he replied 'I treat her as my landlady' to explain t

I have heard this a million time which started to irks me. For the first few time, I could take it as a joke but now I do take it personally. Because if me being a landlady I will draw the line very clearly. Terms and conditions shall draft by a lawyer whilst a friend will discussed everything verbally and the rest will base on mutal trust = close one eye and shut one eye.

My PUB bills have arrived yesteday, its a drastic increase from last month below $100 to nearly $200 this month. Granted it might be a error or miscalculate, I decide not to charge him the excess which was agreeded verbally but to inform them as I wanted to try out till next month and evaluate again before charging all because I treat him as a friend.

This had me disappointed to angry and i am feeling terrible throughout the day. Keep thinking about what he had said. Maybe he is joking which he always did but I could not buy his definition of landlady and friend at that moment.

Friendship need nurture, just like SIMS, you need to nurture the friendship around you before you could tease or poke them and the other party wont feel offended. If you tease a stranger, I sure the stranger will return with a slap. It happens here, friendship takes 2 hands to clap. If one party keeps hiding himself inside the room and only knows how to repeats 'hi' and 'bye' all the time, this is what I call tenant and landlord only.

And why am I bullshitting this when he did not treat me as a friend at all? Feeling so vexed! Yes I a petty person and had short temper. Totally justify a ARIES. Ok tomorrow shall be a better
day!

I am pretty excited on tomorrow 3D ICE AGE 3 with the gang. Going to have a long night long gossip session and ya it GWENNY birthday!
